Sepiasonic
With their mystical sound, the deep-toned bass flutes take the chamber music and the harmonic part. Atmospheric improvisations are added in and between the compositions.
The touching voice and texts by Insa Rudolph provide sepiasonic with the lyrical song character. Inspired by digital sounds, Claudio Puntin constructed a new instrument to play beats in an acoustic fashion: the zischboard. By means of variously sounding air jets, soundscapes never heard before are created.
The use of instruments such as the megaphone, pocket harmonica or toy piano extend the spectrum of sounds between urban reality and playful magic.
Sepiasonic is an innovative band that combines classical composition techniques, improvisation and groove-oriented songs in its own musical style.
